Abstract
The title compound, C13H10ClN3O . 2H(2)O, adopts the keto tautomeric form a nd the azomethine C=N double bond is in the E configuration. In the solid s tate, the molecules form a column-like supramolecular structure in which hy drogen bonds link the molecules to each other through water molecules.
