Abstract
OBJECTIVE, We assess the: usefulness of microwave hepatic tumor coagulation therapy with balloon occlusion of segmental hepatic blood flow for eight r ecurrent metastatic hepatic tumors in seven patients. CONCLUSION, Limited early experience with microwave hepatic tumor coagulati on therapy and segmental hepatic blood Bow occlusion has been positive, sug gesting that further clinical evaluation is warranted.
