Abstract
GC-MS has come a long way since it was first introduced in the late 1960s. At that time it was a slow, laborious process that required the efforts of highly trained scientists. In contrast, the instrument described in this ar ticle has turned GC-MS into a user-friendly method for routine use in chemi cal analysis.
