Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the role of topical 0.1% diclofen ac in prophylaxis in patients who had undergone cataract surgery and were a t risk for cystoid macular edema (CME). Our results revealed that patients who received diclofenac and used topical corticosteroids far a short period (3 weeks) had a lower CME incidence compared with patients who used topica l steroids for a longer term (8 weeks) without diclofenac.
