Abstract
Vibrio vulnificus, part of normal marine flora, is a serious human pathogen capable of causing septicemia and death in susceptible persons. Disease is caused hy raw shellfish ingestion or wound exposure to seawater We present a unique case of a man who developed V. vulnificus septicemia, cerebral in farction, and left homonymous hemianopia.
