Abstract
In 1992, Park and Lee published a paper in Human Factors on the use of a computerized battery to select pilots for the Korean Air Force. In the present article we describe problems associated with the selection , implementation, and administration of the tasks constituting the com puterized battery in Park and Lee. Problems associated with the data a nalysis are also discussed and focus on factor interpretation and noni ndependent statistical tests. We offer some general guidelines for dev eloping computerized pilot selection batteries and data analysis.
