Tests were carried out in order to determine the bending strength of c
orner joints constructed with injection-molded splines. Results indica
ted that high-strength joints can be formed by this process, but that
the strength of the joints is highly dependent on the configuration of
the spline. Information is also presented that allows the strength of
the joints to be compared to the expected strength of similar joints
constructed with screws and dowels.
