Abstract
In the title complex the N-(2-aminoethyl)piperazine and cyanide respec tively bridge between octahedral Cd2+ and tetrahedral Ag+ to form a po sitively-charged three-dimensional host framework accommodating [Ag(CN )(2)](-) anion as the guest.
