Abstract
This paper describes an optical method based on; deflectometry to measure t he slope fields on the whole surface of a plate specimen under bending test ing. The phase-stepping procedure used provides an excellent sensitivity on the slope measurement, which was measured and found to be better than 2.5 x 10(-5) rad. Experimental results are presented along With finite element simulations.
