Abstract
Based on the proposed mixing rules for lambda and h, the lambda h equation was extended to calculate the solubilities of solids in mixed liquid solven ts. The correlation results for 89 pairs of binary solvent systems and 4 pa irs of quaternary solvent systems showed that the extended equation had goo d agreement with experimental data. Furthermore, a prediction method was gi ven with no parameter adjustment, which was suitable for nonalcohol-solvent systems. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
