Abstract
A new kind of beam pointing and target position system which were built rec ently in the XG-II laser facility is discussed in this paper. By using the system, we can finish almost every adjustment task in the target area. The theoretical and experimental results show that the targeting accuracy is be tter than 25 mu m rms.
