Abstract
A reaction of 1,3-dimethyl-6-trifluoromethanesulfonyloxylumazine with an an ion of a 1,3-dicarbonyl compound such as diethyl malonate and 1,3-cyclohexa nedione gives the corresponding 6-substituted lumazine.
