Abstract
From the Rubiaceous plant, Nauclea orientalis, in Thailand, seven non-alkal oidal and two glycosidic indole compounds were isolated. 10-Hydroxystrictos amide (5) and its pentaacetyl derivative (11) were prepared to determine th e C3 stereochemistry.
