Abstract
Raman scattering data for Li0.12Na0.88TayNb1-yO3 solid solutions with the p erovskite structure reveal three compositional phase transitions, accompani ed by significant changes in the degree of cation ordering and distortions of the oxygen framework. The rearrangement of the oxygen framework is likel y to be caused by short- and long-range ordering effects in the Nb + Ta sit es.
