Abstract
Position resolution of the electromagnetic calorimeter for the PHENIX setup (RHIC, BNL) was studied at electron (photon) energies of 0.5-8 GeV and ang les of incidence of 0 degrees-20 degrees with respect to the normal to the calorimeter surface. The features of the electron (photon) position reconst ruction for nonorthogonal incidence are discussed.
