Abstract
The block diagram and test results are presented for the breadboard model o
f a radar on the basis of the centimeter-wave band Gunn oscillator with a s
ounding pulse duration of 10 ns and a pulse power of 30 W. Experimental est
imations are provided for characteristics of target detection against the b
ackground of the receiver self-noise, taking into account the influence of
a diffuse surface.
