Abstract
Regulatory sequences used in plasmids for naked DNA vaccination can modulat e cytokine production in vivo. We demonstrate here that injection of plasmi d DNA can suppress the prototypic T cell-mediated autoimmune disease, exper imental autoimmune encephalomyelitis, by inducing IFN-gamma.
