Abstract
Four 8-substituted derivatives of cAMP were converted into their membr ane-permeant acetoxymethyl esters (AM-esters). The activity of these b ioactivatable compounds to induce chloride secretion of T-84 cells was up to 100-fold increased compared to the non-modified cAMP derivative s. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
