General heat transfer and friction correlations for louver fin geometry hav
ing round tube configuration were proposed in the present study. A total of
49 samples of louvered fin-and-tube heat exchangers with different geometr
ical parameters, including louver pitch, louver height, longitudinal tube p
itch, transverse tube pitch, tube diameter, and fin pitch were used to deve
lop the correlations. The proposed correlation describes 95.5% of the Cobur
