Abstract
We discuss the meaning of a Banks-Casher relation for the Dirac operator ei genvalues in MQCD. It is argued that the eigenvalue can be identified with a coordinate involved in the string compactification manifold. (C) 1999 Ame rican Institute of Physics. [S0021-3640(99)00101-2].
