Abstract
We report a patient with a persistent primitive trigeminal artery (PPTA) de tected incidentally during cerebral angiography for the ruptured aneurysm. Cerebral angiography revealed a PPTA and eight anterior circulation cerebra l aneurysms. Although cerebrovascular fragility, hemodynamic stress and hyp ertension are well known as etiologic factors for development of cerebral a neurysms, there is a known association of aneurysms with a PPTA, fetal caro tid-basilar anastomosis. Furthermore, this case is rare from the viewpoint of aneurysm multiplicity.
