S. Keller et al., Interpretation of relativistic (e,2e) experiments in coplanar asymmetric geometry: Atomic-number-dependent effects, PHYS REV A, 59(2), 1999, pp. 1284-1290
Triply differential cross sections and spin asymmetries for (e,2e) reaction
s of the 1s(1/2) state of intermediate- and high-Z atoms in coplanar asymme
tric geometry are analyzed within the framework of the relativistic distort
ed wave Born approximation. Specific signatures of the relativistic nature
of the electron-electron interaction, and of the atomic-number-dependent el
ectron-residual ion interaction, are identified. [S1050-2947(99)05902-8].
