J. Chaboy et al., X-ray magnetic circular dichroism probe of the Rh magnetic moment instability in Fe1-xRhx alloys near the equiatomic concentration, PHYS REV B, 59(5), 1999, pp. 3306-3309
X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) measurements performed at the Rh L
-2,L-3 edges and Fd L-3 edge in Fe0.51Rh0.49 and Fe-1.005(Rh0.85Pd0.15)(0.9
95) evidence the instability of the Rh magnetic moment (mu(Rh)) through the
ferromagnetic-antiferromagnetic transition and demonstrate the induced nat
ure of both mu(Rh), and mu(Pd). In the case of Fe0.51Rh0.49 these experimen
ts have also revealed the existence of a ferromagnetic ground state at low
temperatures in which mu(Rh)similar to 0.7 mu(B). [S0163-1829(99)11605-9].
