We investigate retarded modes of noninsulating antiferromagnets with a unia
xial anisotropy. The damping caused by the eddy currents and their effects
on retarded modes are emphasized. We find that the influences of the eddy c
urrents upon the dispersion properties of the surface and bulk; modes are v
ery obvious when the wave numbers are not large; and the damping reaches it
s maximum at the maximum of the group velocity of the surface mode. The dis
persion relations for the surface and bulk modes and the attenuation total
