Abstract
We use molecular dynamics to simulate the directional growth of binary mixt ures. Our results compare very well with analytical and experimental result s. This opens up the possibility to probe growth situations which are diffi cult to reach experimentally, being an important tool for further experimen tal and theoretical developments in the area of crystal growth.
