Mv. Rylkina et al., The peculiarities of the electrochemical behavior of copper perchlorate solutions in the presence of amino acids, PROT MET R, 35(1), 1999, pp. 23-27
The effect of a number of monoamino carbonic acids on the anodic dissolutio
n of copper in perchlorate solutions was studied spectrophotometrically and
voltammetrically. An investigation of the position and intensity of the pe
aks of cathodic polarization curves depending on the concentration of amino
acids was shown to provide additional information on the mechanism of the
anodic ionization of copper. A scheme of the process that involves intermed
iate stages with the participation of amino acid anions is proposed.
