Abstract
Experimental results are presented on the chemical composition, structure, and some properties of plasma-sprayed composite stellite-base coatings with titanium nitride additives. The coatings formed in gas-air plasma exhibit enhanced wear and oxidation resistance and high-temperature strength. Resul ts of industrial testing confirm that the coatings are promising for applic ation in engine parts operating under conditions of concurrent impact loads , abrasive wear, and heating.
