Abstract
Measurements of the thermal neutron cross section of the reaction Cs-137(n, gamma)Cs-138 have been performed using high resolution gamma-ray spectrome try and applying covariance analysis to all uncertainties involved. The res ult was (0.253 +/- 0.015) b. This result is discussed and compared with pre vious measurements.
