One patien t had a presumed mycotic aneurysm of the distal left posterior cerebral art ery, and the other had a partially clipped aneurysm of the distal right ant erior inferior cerebellar artery that had hemorrhaged, Short GDCs allow con trolled, accurate occlusion of the parent artery at the aneurysmal neck.
