A study on the journal "Boletin de la Sociedad Espanola de Ceramica y Vidrio"

The journal "Boletin de la Sociedad Espanola de Ceramica y Vidrio" is studi ed from different viewpoints in order to evaluate its quality and its behav iour. Parameters analysed were the compliance of formal standards of period icals, national and international diffusion, coverage by databases, compari son with similar journals of France and Italy, and analysis of the authors and institution publishing in it. The final objective is to prepare a strat egy after the coverage of the journal by the databases Ceramic Abstracts, S CI and Currents Contents, in order to enhance its international visibility and impact.
