Abstract
14 patients have undergone uterine artery embolization of uterine fibroids. No complications related to the procedure have occurred. In all six of the cases with available data, there has been a reduction in fibroid volume as measured with MRI at 2 months post-procedure (average reduction 43%). Tech nical aspects of this promising procedure are described.
