Abstract
In this paper, the mathematical algorithm elaborated by Gonzalez, Getino an d Farto (1998) is applied to four different non-rigid Earth models, in orde r to obtain the analytical expressions of the corresponding free frequencie s. The solutions are studied, and the contributions of the different consid ered effects are evaluated. A numerical integration is also carried out, sh owing the validity of the obtained analytical solutions.
