Abstract
A comparative evaluation of the collective influence of temperature, cookin g time and active alkali charge during sulphate delignification of Gmelina arborea growing in a plantation in Ghana has been made, for determination o f the optimum cooking conditions which will guarantee obtention of a screen ed pulp yield not less than 50%, with adequate strength characteristics for the production of various paper grades.
