Abstract
The effect of coal surface mosaic pattern on structure formation and stabil ity in highly concentrated water-coal suspensions under static conditions w as analyzed. It was shown that both viscosity and sedimentation stability o f the highly concentrated water-coal suspensions increased with an increase in the degree of surface mosaic pattern, which is determined by the ash co ntent of the coal.
