agnostic, and supportive care techniques. Part I of this two-part presentat
ion reviewed recommendations for clinical assessment, diagnostic differenti
als, and initial treatment plans. Many techniques used to manage critically
ill dogs and cats can be adapted to minimize stress in critically ill rabb
its. Part II provides general guidelines for handling hospitalized rabbits
and describes such diagnostic and therapeutic techniques as venipuncture, r
adiography, fluid therapy, nutritional support, analgesia, and intubation.
