Abstract
We prove that rite induced representation from a non-trivial character of t he Coxeter roi-us of GL(2, F), for a finite field F, is multiplicity-free a nd we give a uniform and explicit description of the corresponding (twisted ) spherical functions. (C) Academie des Sciences/Elsevier, Paris.
