T. Ohtani et al., Charge density waves in quasi-one-dimensional compound InxNb3Te4 (0 <= x <= 1.0): Electron diffraction observations, JPN J A P 2, 38(2A), 1999, pp. L142-L144
Electron diffraction measurements revealed that the quasi-one-dimensional c
ompound InxNb3Te4 (x = 0.40, 0.60, 0.90, 1.0) exhibits charge density wave
(CDW) modulation below similar to 150 K. The CDW wave vectors were q = +/-
(1/3a* + 1/3b*) + zc*, where z is 0.433, 0.440, 0.453, and 0.462 for x = 0.
40, 0.60, 0.90, and 1.0, respectively. The increase in z with increasing x
was interpreted as arising from the increase in Fermi energy due to In inte
rcalation.
