Abstract
Anhydrous hydrogen fluoride is a suitable medium for micellation. This repo rts on the micellation in superacid solutions using the pentafluorides TaF5 , NbF5 and TiF4 in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride. The cmc-data of selected al kyltrimethylammoniumfluorides in these superacid systems are determined by solubilisation measurements with toluol as aromatic hydrocarbon. Furthermor e, a different solubilisation behaviour was observed depending on the used metal fluoride.
