Abstract
Asthma is the most common chronic respiratory disease affecting pregnant wo men. To provide the best obstetric care, it is necessary to understand feta l oxygenation and how it can be affected by maternal asthma, During pregnan cy, fetal well-being should be closely monitored, and asthma care should be carefully integrated with obstetric care. Optimal fetal assessment include s establishing gestational age, assessment of fetal growth, and monitoring fetal activity, Evaluation for high-risk patients may include the non-stres s test, contraction stress test, or biophysical profile.
