Abstract
In the present work, we study the flexural modes in a thin laminated plate starting from the Kirchhoff's hypothesis and from the linear approximation for the electric potential. The piezoelectric problem is stated with the ai m of obtaining the flexural modes. The investigated system is modeled as a laminated plate of cylindrical shape, composed of 2N layers of piezoelectri c materials. We study the effects of the number of layers and the effects o f the plate thickness and radius variations on the mentioned modes. Finally , we focus our attention on the influence of electric potential configurati ons at the bottom and the top faces of the laminated plate on the electroel astic flexural vibrations.
