Abstract
The viscosities of solutions of tetraethylammonium perchlorate (Et4NClO4), tetrapropylammonium perchlorate (Pr4NClO4), and tetrabutylammonium perchlor ate (Bu4NClO4) in 2-methoxyethanol (1) + water (2) mixtures have been measu red at 298.15, 308.15, and 318.15 K. The data have been analyzed by the Jon es-Dole equation for the associated as well as unassociated electrolytes to evaluate viscosity B coefficients of the electrolytes. The resulting visco sity B coefficient and its dependence on temperature provide useful informa tion with regard to changes in the solvent structure.
