Excess molar volumes for {1,4-dioxane or 1,3-dioxolane + cyclohexane} and e
xcess molar enthalpies and isobaric excess molar heat capacities for the bi
nary mixtures {tetrahydrofuran, tetrahydropyran, 1,4-dioxane, or 1,3-dioxol
ane + cyclohexane or toluene} at the temperature 298.15 K have been determi
ned as a function of mole fraction. The magnitude of these experimental qua
ntities is discussed in terms of the nature and type of intermolecular inte
ractions in binary mixtures. When available, the results have been compared
with literature values.
