Abstract
An investigation of the gorgonian octocoral Erythropodium caribaeorum colle cted off the north coast of Jamaica has yielded three new briarane diterpen es. In addition, the six known diterpenes, erythrolides A, B, D, E, F, and I were isolated. The structures of these diterpenes were established by H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy utilizing DEFT, COSY, and HETCOR experiments.
