Three new scalarane-based sesterterpenes from the tropical marine sponge Strepsichordaia lendenfeldi

From the dichloromethane extract of the tropical marine sponge Strepsichord aia lendenfeldi collected from the Great Barrier Reef, Australia, three new (1, 2, and 9) and seven known (3-8 and 10) scalarane-based sesterterpenes were isolated. All molecular structures were secured by spectroscopic metho ds, particularly 1D and 2D NMR, and accurate mass measurement.
