The primary non-Hodgkin's-lymphoma of the liver

Primary non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the liver is an uncommon neoplasm. This r eport describes the case of a 89 year old man who died of fulminant pulmona ry artery embolism. The autopsy revealed a 4.5 cm measuring hepatic solid t umor. Histological examination showed a low-grade non-Hodgkin's B-cell lymp homa of centroblastic-centrocytic type. No filtration of other organs, espe cially lymph nodes, spleen or bone marrow was found. Thus a case of primary non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the liver is reported.
