Abstract
A Microsoft(R) Excel v. 5.0 spreadsheet program for estimating low tox ic effects is described using an example data set consisting of herbic ide effects on corn germination. Users are guided through each step in the program. Five model equations are illustrated in both their mathe matical and spreadsheet forms and statistical procedures are described .
