The cross sections for N-14(alpha,p)O-17 reactions at lab angle 165 degrees
and incident energies between 5.5 and 7.5 MeV were measured. Angular distr
ibution of protons for an incident energy of 6.576 MeV, which is the energy
of the resonance peak of the excitation function of the reaction N-14(alph
a,p)O-17 is presented. Finally, two examples for detecting nitrogen with th
