Abstract
Supraventricular tachycardia requires atrial or AV junctional tissue for it s initiation and maintenance. Acute management of supraventricular tachycar dias include vagal maneuvers, pharmacological treatment, and electrical car dioversion. We describe a case of a supraventricular tachycardias cardiover ted by the jolt of the ambulance hitting a pothole. The proposed mechanism of cardioversion is an external mechanical one similar to the precordial th ump.
