Abstract
A variety of soft-sediment deformation structures are documented in th e Lower Mahi river basin of Western India. They are slumps and slides, syn-tectonic folds, faulting, slickensides and pseudonodules. Majorit y of the structures indicate syn-tectonic sedimentation and differenti al subsidence of the basin. The movements took place along several ste p faults developed parallel to the East Cambay Basin Margin Fault.
