Spray pyrolysis is a low-cost method of depositing thin films and is econom
ically more attractive than other methods that have been used to produce st
able CuInS2 thin films. The electrical, optical and structural properties o
f the films, as prepared, are presented together with their evolution and w
ith a variation of some fabrication parameters which are the fabrication te
mperature T-s, and the ionic ratio R = Cu:In:S in the solution. (C) 1999 El
